How to Create Glassy Button?

Do you know how to create glassy button? There are many ways to create glassy button. The following I will show you the way to make glassy button in Illustrator. Let see the step by step.

1-Creating The Circles

You need to create 3 circles with difference color and put it one over another as you can see in the image as following:

1- First, create a circle and fill it with dark orange.

2- Then Copy (Ctrl + C) and Paste in Front (Ctrl + F). Then scale it down and fill with lighter orange color as you see in the image.

3- Do as step 2 to create third circle (Fill it with yellow color).

2-Apply Gaussian Blur Effect

1- Select the yellow circle, then go to Effect menu > Blur > Gaussian Blur.

2- Drag Radius to 70%, the press Ok.

After applied Gaussian blur, it will look like this.

3-Adding Reflection

1- Use Pen Tool (P) to draw a highlight as you see in the following.

2- Copy (Ctrl + C) middle circle and Paste in Front (Ctrl + F). Then, select both the circle and the highlight drawing. Then hold Alt and press Intersect Shape Areas to get highlight.

3- Reduce Opacity to about 36%. Then, you will get the image look like the following.

4-Adding Stop Sign

1- Draw a Rounded Rectangle use (Rounded Rectangle Tool)

2- Go to Effect menu > Stylize > Outer Glow (To add shadow)

3- Apply Gradient

Now, you get the glassy button. You can try different color as you prefer. I hope you enjoy this tutorial.
